A Shocking Tale…

I was reading in our local paper today about a young college woman. She was walking back to her apartment after visiting a friend and heard footsteps behind her. She kept walking and reached into her purse and took out her taser. Then, she suddenly stopped, quickly turned around and “threatened” her potential attacker with her C2 taser. She tells the story that he backed off immediately.
While we’ll never know if the man was, indeed, going to attack her, rather than taking a chance and becoming a victim, the woman was proactive and defended herself. She said she felt empowered knowing she had a way to protect herself. I say Congratulations to her for making her Self Defense her responsibility.
