Tasers

Almost Daily there are stories of Tasers in the news.  Usually about the involvement of Law Enforcement and non-law abiding civilians.  But, these days, more and more regular people are using tasers as a way to protect themselves.

Tasers are an extremely effective Self Defense device.  There are non-lethal which is the reason most people prefer them over other weapons, but still have the take down power of a 9 mm. handgun.

Tasers are easy to use:  requiring no special training other than reading a manual, perhaps watching a video and practicing a bit.

Relatively speaking, Tasers are inexpensive too -especially compared to the care and continual maintenance of handguns.

The more popular of the two civilian model tasers, the C2, is comfortable to grip and compact making it easy to conceal.  It also comes in 9 attractive and fun colors and patterns which makes it appeal to it’s target market of women.

The Advance M18 Taser is more gun like in appearance which tends to appeal more to men.

Tasers do require a background check before they can be used or purchased.
